Amelia and Griffin both worked at Island Lake, a Christian summer camp, after they graduated high school. That summer both of them encountered the good news of Jesus. They also met each other, which at the time they didn't know how much that would impact them. During that time at Island Lake, they began to notice a Creator whose salvation filled them with joy, whose calling filled them with purpose, and whose Spirit filled them with life, they also began to notice one another. Griffin noticed.... Amelia didn't notice Griffin at first because she was not interested in dating anyone as she went into college. But as they ran into each other more and more throughout their time at camp, it was hard not to notice the cute, goofy boy who was falling in love with Jesus. That month of working at Island Lake started a relationship that no one could predict leading them from camp, to long distance, to Central Washington University and now to help start a collegiate church at Montana State University. Their relationship is about to become a lifetime full of laughter, joy, sorrow, hardship, making disciples, and covenant commitment to each other.
