We first crossed paths in the summer of 2017 while apartment hunting in New York City, but it was just a brief encounter. It wasn’t until about a year later, at a gathering on the Upper West Side, that we truly reconnected. After both moving to the same neighborhood in Manhattan, we began spending more time together, and by the end of the summer of 2018, it was official.
Over seven years since that serendipitous meeting on a realtor's stoop in the East Village, our lives have become even more intertwined. We've since moved to Washington, D.C., where we’ve celebrated new jobs, Amelia’s graduate degree, and many other milestones. Along the way, we’ve scratched our international wanderlust while also returning to the places that feel like home.
It was at a winery in Aix-en-Provence where Drew proposed, marking the next big step in our relationship. Now, it feels only fitting to celebrate our marriage at a winery in Sonoma, Amelia’s hometown, surrounded by our closest friends and family.
