How I feel about the relationship between Amelia Jemieson and Demarius Howe is I think they have a very strong and well rounded relationship. I feel good about them getting married and the reason why is because all the memories we had together such as when we went to Disney on ice, Busch Gardens, and Dave and Busters, just to name a few. While at NSU I pledged Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc with 11 others having Demarius as the Ace of our line. Hello I am Darissa Mannings. I met Amelia in 2017. Our first meeting I vaguely remember, but the second meeting is when I knew this would be my girl forever. I’ll try not to make it long. Some mutual friends and I were getting ready to go out on this particular night. Amelia wasn’t coming out with us but we asked if she didn’t mind taking pictures for us. Not only did she take the pictures, she got on the floor and got the angles. I said, “oh I like you”. I sit and I laugh about it, but that moment I knew she was going to make sure you look good whether you were with her or not. Over the years we’ve worked together, we’ve partied together, we’ve cried together and we have lived life together. I’ve seen so much growth. I could still remember when Amelia and Demarius met. Amelia, myself and a mutual friend went out to celebrate her birthday and we talked about this gentleman. I could tell my good sis was happy. The happiness continue. I was happy to see her genuinely happy again. Just seeing you both together, I am truly happy she met someone like you. We were also unofficial roommates lol (I slept on his and Kyle’s couch many nights) We have so many stories and great memories together and I wouldn’t trade our bond for anything. I recall telling Demarius over and over I did not need a phone or his service but he was very persistent and demanded that to not be true. Ha! I am grateful to God for allowing Demarius and I to cross paths at NSU. Since then I have witnessed Demarius evolve into the example of how to carry yourself as a man.
