Amelia Grace Delorenzo
Bride
Amelia was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya where she collected jacaranda flowers, ate roasted street corn and caught chameleons. She has lived in five countries, including the United States, where she and her mother, father, and younger brother moved when she was 16 years old. She has loved Danté since their very first date where he charmed her with his conversational skills, humility, and lovely singing voice. Because she understands what it's like to be a stranger in a strange place, Amelia dreams of working with the immigrant/refugee community around ATL.
Danté Ricardo Edwards
Groom
Danté is a first generation American, born and raised north of Atlanta. He met Amelia at Toccoa Falls College and instantly admired her sharp mind and piercing blue eyes. He dreams one day of working in racial reconciliation ministry and helping equip the Church to love its congregants of color, and therefore better love everyone.
Michael Delorenzo
Father of the Bride
Mike loves airplanes, well-written books, thought provoking movies, and a cold rootbeer. He is a regular renaissance man and is known for being quick to lend his talents to the service of God and other people. His friends like to poke fun at his proclivity towards neatness, but his family knows him for being a turtle-rescuer, prank-instigator, motor oil-covered artist who likes to vacuum. Amelia is proud to get to walk down the isle with her father.

Father of the Groom
Ricky is Dante’s father. Born and raised in Jamaica, he came to the United States after college in pursuit of more opportunity. He’s been a constant source of wisdom and direction in Dante’s life, and even when he hasn’t known how to show it, Dante’ has admired his dad and worked to become a person he could be proud of.
Renée Delorenzo
Mother of the Bride
Renee has served and equipped people through her skills, knowledge, and compassion her entire life through, but none bear greater evidence to this than her children. Renee loves daisies and ice tea and finding treasure at antique stores. She is always willing to grab a cup of coffee and lend a listening prayer. She is quick with encouragement, and ready to pray for you at any given notice. Amelia is proud to get to walk down the isle with her mother.
Jacqueline Edwards
Mother of the Groom
Jackie is Danté's mother. She was born and raised in Jamaica, and came to America for more opportunities. She is in constant pursuit of Jesus, and can be found at any point in the day listening to a sermon. Danté's life has brought changes and unexpected circumstances, but in the midst of it all, his mom was a reminder that a relationship with Jesus happens in every moment, no matter the moment.
Kayla Rose
Matron of Honor
Kayla and Amelia haven't lived in the same place (sometimes state, country, or continent) since they first became BFFs in middle school in Kenya. However, they've traveled to see each other at least once a year throughout their 9-year-long friendship. During the pandemic, Amelia was the maid of honor in Kayla's micro-wedding. Nothing can keep them apart for long! Kayla and Amelia even have matching tattoos. Kayla and her husband will be traveling from Tennessee for this wedding.

After meeting at the 2017 Future Scholar event, Brett and Danté became close friends and multiple time roommates. From late-night runs to Cookout to late-night conversations, Brett and Danté have become the closest of friends. Brett is traveling from Pennsylvania for this wedding.

Lexi and Amelia were classmates in high school, roommates in college, and are now coworkers!! Inseparable best friends, Lexi and Amelia are known for being concert buddies, sharing extreme hobbies and making each other laugh until they lose their voices. Lexi is known for her sweet encouragement and her adventurous willingness to try new things

Tim has been a catalyst for growth in Danté's life by being both a counterbalance and a source of familiarity. Sports, movies, and predestination have brought these two together in a prayerfully permanent manner.

Teah and Amelia grew up as sisters in Kenya. Together, they've scraped knees, built dollhouses, memorized movie scripts, studied in homeschool coops, and more. Truly more family than friends. Teah will be traveling from Minnesota for this wedding.

Bryce’s intensity and unyielding passion have been instrumental in reassuring Danté that it’s okay to see the world as a playground. Bryce has been a fiercely loyal friend to Danté since he first arrived at Toccoa Falls College.

Rachel and Amelia are so close, Amelia used to have a second toothbrush that lived at Rachel's house for impromptu sleepovers. These two have been friends almost as long as Amelia has lived in Georgia (6.5 years). They share art and stories, enjoy niche hobbies, and are always looking for an opportunity to dress up together

Danté and Evan connected far faster than either of their beards. They did everything together in high school - two different churches, lunch periods at school, and a job at church - and even in college, a shared fandom and disappointment in the Atlanta Hawks have kept their bond alive.

Ginny is Amelia's second cousin on her father's side. Even though Amelia didn't get to spend much time with extended family growing up, she and Ginny have been close for years and years! More a sister than a cousin, Ginny has been a key role model in Amelia's life. Ginny is traveling from Illinois for this wedding.

Rinaldo is an immensely talented guitarist and a two-time roommate of Danté's. He has served as an invaluable guide into the world of anime as well as into the world of loving others well. In fact, watching anime with Rinaldo was the first activity Danté and Amelia had together outside of class!
Destinee Edwards

Destinee is Danté’s second sister. She is emotionally healthy, wise, and intelligent far beyond her years. She’s the sort of person who’s good at everything she tries, and more importantly, she’s the sort of person who would never boast in herself despite her talents. Amelia is delighted to become sisters with Destinee!

Quiet moments in the corner of the coffeehouse or in-between commitments in Tyler living room have been the cornerstone of Reilly and Danté's relationship. This goodbye from college was among the hardest for Danté and he hopes to not have to say another one.

Originally a Lee, but the newest addition to the Delorenzos as of July 8, 2022, Annabelle married Amelia's brother, Zachary! Amelia is overjoyed to have beautiful, funny, creative Annabelle as a sister, and cannot wait to to show her off to everyone. Zach and Annabelle are traveling from Colorado for this wedding.

Throughout their lifetimes, Zach and Amelia have been the best of friends and the most formidable of foes, but they have always had each other's backs. Zach is one of the most compassionate and talented people Amelia has ever known. He loves Jesus and people; he is a selfless helper, and an incredibly loyal friend. She is so proud of him, and is definitely taking full advantage of this opportunity to show him off. While Zach will not be a groomsman in this wedding, we have asked him to walk his brand new wife (Annabelle) down the isle.

Amoré is Danté's first sister, and in many ways, first friend. She has endless talent, an abundance of common sense, and an infectious personality. Danté taught her everything she knows. Amoré is lovely, funny, charismatic, and a great friend, and Amelia is delighted to have her as a sister!

Since kindergarten, Danté has watched Oba become smarter, wiser, more mature, healthier, and more bald. Oba is a friend who has stuck closer to Danté than a brother.

Carina is Amelia's grandmother on her father's side. Originally from Holland, Carina moved to the US when she was in elementary school. She loves to laugh and dance and make memories with loved ones. Carina came with John Hartman, her dear friend. Carina and John are traveling from New Jersey for this wedding.

Danté's grandmother on his mother's side, Laurel her late husband Roy moved to the United States with their children in 1982. Perhaps it’s from her that Danté gained his love of recreation, because she is always showing off her creativity and wit with homemade decor, crossword puzzles, and baking. She has always been a listening ear to be present with Danté in moments when he needed it most.

Prousent is Danté's grandmother on his father's side. She was born and raised in Jamaica, and only moved stateside in recent years. Although Dante’ did not grow up with her, Prousent has been living proof to him that there is something to be enjoyed in every day. She’s shown Danté that life is meant to be lived, and sometimes, hair is meant to be purple.
