Lauren and Damian met when they were in their freshman year of high school. From classmates to mischievous teenage pals to responsible adults, from Myspace top 8 to coworkers, they have remained close friends for over a decade. Lauren was thrilled to meet Ami when she entered Damian's life, and cherishes the friendship that has blossomed between them over the years as well. Lauren is honored to be a groomswoman for the union of two of the most wonderful people she has ever met, and is looking for suggestions for truly waterproof eye makeup that will withstand her inevitable tears of joy.

She and Ami met in first period history freshman year of high school, but it was second period English where the two bonded over a, shall we say, less than beloved teacher. For close to 20 years now, Holly and Ami have been dear friends experiencing the highs and lows of life together. Holly is ecstatic for Ami and Damian to tie the knot!

Richie met Damian shortly after he and Ami began dating, on a Tuesday or Thursday night at Southport Lanes. (He immediately knew that Damian fit in with the group.) Richie enjoys Damian's calm demeanor and willingness to learn new things. They spent a few nights years ago learning to cook, and now collaborate at the grill whenever Damian and Ami host a barbecue. Over nearly a decade Richie has seen Damian and Ami's relationship grow. He's looking forward to many more decades of friendship!

If you have ever seen Ellie and Ami together, you know their friendship runs deep. They have known each other since middle school (one of the most challenging times of life) and continued to stay close even when they went to different high schools, especially when they learned they chose to attend the same college. In high school they went prom dress shopping together and continued to have adventures and grow up together. The wedding day would not be complete without Ellie’s unforgettable presence, just like Ami at Ellie’s wedding in 2019.

You can often find them together on a wild adventure: encountering bears in Montana, training for a (super sprint) triathlon, or charging into a Dungeons & Dragons battle (Ami as a giant spider, of course). Kimisha is so excited to celebrate Ami’s adventure of a lifetime with Damian!

Hannah is one of Ami’s college friends. You could usually find Ami and Hannah drinking a Blue Moon (with an orange slice!) at Murphy’s, listening to the Fleet Foxes or taking mirror selfies. They even took an ice skating class together for college credit and did a choreographed routine to the viral hit “What Does the Fox Say?”. While their tastes in beer may have changed, their friendship hasn’t - and they will still shamelessly take a mirror selfie… or five ❤️
