FAQs

Question

Passports

Answer

Don't forget your passport! Please ensure your passport is valid through at least December 2026, as Mexico requires at least six months of validity beyond your travel dates. If your passport expires before then, you will not be permitted to travel. Passports can take up to three months to process, so we highly recommend applying or renewing as soon as possible. You can find more information and apply here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html

Question

Is there a room block and when should I book by?

Answer

There is no room block for our wedding, meaning rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure the best availability of your room choice, we strongly recommend booking as soon as possible. Additionally, our discounted promo code expires on April 1, 2026, so be sure to book before then to take advantage of the special rate!

Question

Is my full payment due at the time of booking?

Answer

No payment or deposit is required at the time of booking. Full payment is due 30 days before travel, so you can reserve your room now and pay later.

Question

Is there a minimum stay requirement at the resort?

Answer

Yes, the resort requires a minimum stay of three nights for all guests attending our wedding. We recommend booking as soon as possible to secure your preferred dates and take advantage of our special promo code before it expires on April 1, 2026.

Question

Can I bring a plus one or my children to the wedding?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accomadate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. We kindly ask that you do not bring additional guests or children unless they are named on your invitation as they will not be able to attend the ceremony or reception. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What is the dress code for the resort restaurants?

Answer

Finest Playa Mujeres has a dress code for dining, so please be sure to pack accordingly. For breakfast and lunch, casual attire is allowed. Shorts, bermudas, and t-shirts are acceptable. Sleeveless shirts (for men), tank tops, wet clothes, and swimsuits are not permitted. Footwear is required. For dinner, the resort requires resort casual attire. Women should wear dresses, skirts, capris, or long pants with a blouse. Men can wear shorts, bermudas, capris, or long pants with a polo or dress shirt. The resort does enforce these guidelines, so please plan your outfits accordingly to ensure a smooth dining experience.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is beach formal. Think light, airy fabrics—sundresses, maxi dresses, linen pants, button-up shirts, and dressy sandals or wedges are perfect. We kindly ask that you avoid jeans and shorts.
