Sewanee is a small college town in Tennessee, known for the prestigious college, The University of the South. It sits atop the Cumberland Plateau off Interstate 24 between Chattanooga and Nashville.

We have included a list of wonderful places to stay on the Mountain under the “Travel” tab. This includes local inns, as well as rentals, and it is NOT exhaustive. If you have any questions about accommodations, please let us know as lodging in and around Sewanee can be challenging.

Where should I park?

Answer

Free street parking is available outside the Chapel, with a small parking lot adjacent to the Quad. More parking can be found along Georgia Avenue.
