Q + A

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

If you already know whether or not you can't make it, please feel free to let us know as soon as possible. The final RSVP deadline will be indicated once the formal invites are sent.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Coastal Black Tie - sophisticated with a nod to Cabo's coastal charm. Ladies: formal floor-length or tea-length dresses with a light and elegant feel suitable for a beach setting. Gentlemen, tuxedos are welcome, but a well-tailored suit and tie will do just fine.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, this weekend will be adults only.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We'll only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation which will be sent in the following months.

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

A passport is required for travel to Mexico. Processing times can vary, so we suggest applying early. If it's your first time applying for a passport, you'll need to do so in person. More details can be found below: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply.html

Question

What currency do they use in Los Cabos?

Answer

The peso is Mexico's national currency, though many places in Los Cabos accept U.S. dollars for convenience. Major credit cards are also accepted in most establishments. Banks offer currency exchange during business hours. Universal ATMs are widely available for cash withdrawals at the current exchange rate, and most ATMs have menus in English. The ATMs usually only dispense dollars. Canadian Dollars are not accepted as currency in Mexico.

Question

Can I drink the water in Mexico?

Answer

As a rule of thumb, you should stick to bottled or purified water in Mexico. All of the restaurants and hotels only serve purified water and YES, the ice is safe. The key to good health when traveling ANYWHERE is hydration and sunscreen.

Question

Does Los Cabos Have Uber?

Answer

Yes, Los Cabos has UBER, but please be aware that the cars they drive are much smaller than the ones in the states and we do not have UBER XL as of yet, so you will need to consider not more than 3 persons in your car per ride. I would recommend booking transportation through Impala from Airport to Hotel. As we do not recommend Uber service for airports.
