Ameer and Zainab have been searching for each other for a few years now, and alhamdulillah Allah (SWT) brought them together in June 2021. The two met in person for the first time in Dallas, TX on August 21, 2021. Then, on November 20, 2021 Ameer decided he liked it, so he put a ring on it. Now on June 18th 2022, they are getting married!

Ameer is the third son of Shaymela and Reza Bacchus. His parents came are from Guyana, and he was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He has a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston and works for a Nuclear Consulting company in Sugar Land, Texas. Ameer is a man of many interests, from wood working to painting, from sewing to coding. He loves running, as well as learning new skills.

Zainab is the youngest daughter of Iqbal and Fatima Kalla. Her parents are from South Africa, but she was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2016, they moved to Dallas where Zainab attended the University of Texas at Dallas and graduated with a degree in Supply Chain. She is a now a project manager at Samsung. Zainab spends her free time watching Netflix shows and reading webtoons.
