Where should I stay?

We have a hotel block for a Hyatt hotel in Morrisville, NC that is very close to the Saturday night venue. The venue for Sunday is quite far from many hotels/towns. If looking at Airbnb or other hotels, we recommend either staying in one of the several hotels in the Durham/Cary/Morrisville area or in downtown Chapel Hill if you prefer a walkable college-town vibe. See the "Travel" tab for more information on the Hyatt with a hotel block, as well as a couple other hotels in the area.

How do I get there?

Answer

For Saturday, the Paramount Event Venue has ample parking. Rideshare is widely available and also a great option for getting to and from the event. For guests staying at the Hyatt House hotel, a complimentary shuttle to and from the event is included with the stay. The shuttle will run from 3:30-4:15 on the way there, and 10:30-11:30 on the way back. It is a 5 minute drive between the hotel and the Paramount. There is limited space in the shuttle, so it will make multiple trips. If you run into any issues while waiting for the shuttle, please contact Ali Basrai (631 974 7899) or Jaymin Jethwa (919 809 4470). For Sunday, for guests driving, there will be ample parking available. Carolina Grove allows guests to leave cars at the venue overnight. For guests not driving, uber/lyft are readily available in the area to get to the event. Getting ubers/lyfts home from the Carolina Grove at night may require a long wait due to the venue location. We are providing buses from the Carolina Grove to the afterparty in Chapel Hill. For guests not attending the afterparty and not driving, we recommend either: getting on one of the afterparty buses (there will be plenty of space!) to Chapel Hill and calling an uber/lyft from there, or scheduling a ride share or taxi for pickup in advance. Saturday: Fun and Colorful! For Men: Kurtas or suit & tie For Women: Lehengas, shararas, salwar kameez, etc. or cocktail formal attire Sunday: Dress to Impress!
