Our #ThirtyOneAndForever Story It all started when our cousins independently invited us to a comedy show. I arrived late to a pitch-black theater, unable to see who I was sitting next to, but I immediately noticed he smelled amazing! He politely guided me to my seat, and because of the tight seating, he ended up with his arm around the back of my chair to be comfortable. After dinner with our cousins that night, we went our separate ways, but John got my number from his cousin (my cousin’s wife) and called me that following Monday. We talked for two hours, and he soon joined our family vacation that year. Despite him almost burning the house down, we’ve been inseparable ever since! Now, as grandparents with daughters of the same age, we’ve found that we truly fell in love with our best friend, bonding over humor and compassion. On November 29th, 2024, John proposed to me in a club packed with family. Even with the crowd, in that moment, it was only he and I. In this second stage of our lives, we plan to live carefree, enjoying one another and traveling. Our tag line, #ThirtyoneAndForever, comes from the dark humor we share; we averaged the lifespan of our grandparents with our ages when we met, and we plan to spend AT LEAST 31 years together. We are so excited to share this day with you as we bond our hearts and start the journey as husband and wife. Welcome to our #ThirtyOneandForever!
