When and where is the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be at Toccoa Falls, GA, starting at 9:00 AM. Guests should arrive by 8:30 AM so we can begin on time.

How far is it from Helen to Toccoa Falls?

Answer

It’s about a 40-minute drive. Please plan for a little extra time in case of traffic or parking delays.

What should I wear?

Answer

Ceremony: Semi-formal / cocktail attire. Bridesmaids will be in elegant dresses in jewel tones and greens, so guests are encouraged to wear something dressy (cocktail dress, jumpsuit, suit, or dress shirt with slacks). Please wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking to the waterfall. Reception: We’ll be celebrating casually at our house with a grill lunch — so think church dress / dressy casual (sundress, skirt and top, slacks with button-down).

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, we’ll take photos at the falls for about an hour. Then we’ll all head back to Helen (~40 minutes) for a casual lunch reception at our house with grilled skewers, corn, salads, and cake.

Will there be food before the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! For anyone staying with us or joining early, we’ll have a self-serve breakfast bar at the house while everyone gets ready (waffles, muffins, bagels, fruit, juice, and coffee).

Is the ceremony outdoors?

Answer

Yes — Toccoa Falls is a beautiful outdoor waterfall venue. Please dress for the weather and bring a light layer if it’s cool in the morning.

Parking is available at the Toccoa Falls visitor area. We’ll share detailed directions and any updates closer to the day.
