Maid of Honor
From sharing a room, clothes, and countless special moments. There is no one I'd rather have standing next to me and sharing this special day with. She's spontaneous and always up for an adventure. This picture was taken on a whim of a camping trip to Cherry Springs where we woke up with hand warmers and our hands shoved in our socks. Someone should have told us not to camp in November. Meet my sister, my first friend, and Maid of Honor, Rin.
Best Man
My brother and best friend. We taddled on each other as kids but now we've got each others' backs. He's got a knack for cooking, fishing and keeping me from dressing like a homeless man. I still ask him for clothing advice since he dresses better than Don Johnson from Miami Vice... And he looks better than him too. Meet the Best Man, my brother Sean.
Bridesmaid
This woman has been closer than an cousin to both Erin and I, our sister-cousin. She's grown me in so many ways as a person and her sense of humor is responsible for countless sleepless sleepover nights of side-splitting laughter. She'll convince you to join her in an epic workout and inspire you with her culinary creations.
Groomsman
Patrick O'Reilly ladies and gentlemen. Not sure why he's wearing the mexican cowboy hat to go surfing. But that's exactly why we love him. Unpredictable and a joy to be around. We traveled across the country once and almost died together on a Nicaraguan surf trip. Now the bravest Firefighter in his hometown.
Bridesmaid
My first college bestie. When I attended my Kutztown University orientation summer of 2010, I went in knowing no one and walked away, got in the car and had told my mom I met my best friend. She's the Jonathan to my David. We share an obsession over tea and all things Parisian. She's a voice of reason in my hyper emotional moments.
Groomsman
He once "couch surfed" across America. Fellow Coast Guardsman. We've competed in several long distance races together and still keep in frequent touch despite his new duty station, COAST GUARD CUTTER WAESCHE in San Francisco, California. Let's hope he's able to couch surf his way over to Pennsylvania on April 12th!
Bridesmaid
Meg, my kindred spirit. One of my roommates my senior year at Kutztown who grounded me, lit a fire under my butt, and continues hold up the mirror when I need to see myself accurately in all the best ways. She survived the days of the 106 chicks on skinny pop, hummus, and diet coke. She's also Irish..which makes me love her all the more.
Groomsman
A humble father figure ahead of his generation. Good with money. We've been friends for almost 15 years and share a disturbing obsession for Dave Matthews Band. Years ago, you would find us hanging in a basement playing DMB on guitar all night long... potentially sobbing. Oh... and he's Irish.
Bridesmaid
So thankful to have met this lady starting my second year teaching in Virginia. A fellow Pennsylvania transplant in crazy Northern Virginia teaching cherubs how to draw and paint. Having her live 3 mins from me in Reston has been such a blessing. Bubbly and sweet, she can brighten anyone's day.
Groomsman
Mr. Michael Yake. Another long term best friend of mine from Notre Dame High School. Another goofball. He's got a brain like a steel trap and a heart of gold. He enjoys long walks on the beach, poetry and the smell of rich mahogany.
Bridesmaid
My cheerleader, my sunshine. This girl is the most positive person I've ever met. Surrounding myself with this woman has allowed me to see different perspectives and appreciate the small things in life so much more. Even her inability to taste and smell doesn't damper her spirits!
Groomsman
Abby said I had the same sense of humor as her brother Joel when we first started dating, and he affirmed that when he bought me a cactus for Christmas. We clicked instantly and continue to bond through music. He's one of a kind. Thankful to be adding not only a brother, but a fellow brother in Christ to the family.
