Cantaritos el Güero

This is one of the biggest bars of the world and the best cantaritos. It is about 20 minutes away from Tequila. We only recommend you to go if you have the additional time because you are arriving earlier or staying extra time.

Guadalajara

For those who want to take advantage of this trip and visit JuanMa´s hometown, below are some recommendations. 1 or 2 days are enough for the most important things. The metropolitan area of Guadalajara is the third largest in Mexico with 5.1 million people. Sightseeing: Walk around the downtown area, starting at the Catedral de Guadalajara, passing through Teatro Degollado until you arrive to el Hospicio Cabañas (it is JuanMa´s favorite building in the city and has great murals inside). Tlaquepaque. Walk from el Parián, passing through Jardín Hidalgo and going down through the main walking corridor, Calle Independencia. On this street, there are multiple spots where you can buy art and crafts. If you want to have a meal here, we recommend Restaurante Casa Luna and if you like ice cream, you must try the local nieve de garrafa (there are multiple spots, but we recommend Nieves De Garrafa Chapalita) What to eat: Tortas ahogadas, carnes en su jugo and jericallas.
