Things To Do

SPoT Coffee

225 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14202
, (716) 332-2299

Just across the stree from the hotel is one of my favorite coffee shops.

Canalside

44 Prime Street, Buffalo, NY 14202
, (716) 436-7100

Canalside is at the heart of Buffalo’s waterfront revitalization. Here, you can rent kayaks or paddleboats to take out on the water, check out the naval and military park, and grab a locally brewed beer.

Restaurants

The Terrace , Hydraulic Hearth (brick-oven pizzas & brewery), Sun Restaurant (Thai/Burmese- get the tea leaf salad and anything with black rice!) The Dapper Goose (New American eats & clever cocktails), Inizio (Italian, homemade pasta), Osteria 166 (Italian, Veggie friendly), Roost (quirky Italian), Toutant (Southern eats, cocktails, Industrial-chic), Bacchus (American small plates & wine bar), Left Bank (higher-end, old school Buffalo favorite), Templeton Landing (American food, right on the water and a popular spot for boaters)

Anchor Bar

1047 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14209
, (716) 883-1134

While my favorite wing in town is Duff's on Sheridan, that's a drive away. Right downtown are Anchor Bar, known as the actual creator of wings, and Gabriel's Gate on Allen is widely said to be the best- and also has great Beef on Weck for anyone craving another Buffalo staple (which will be served at the reception). Can't go wrong with any of them...you're in Buffalo!

Elmwood Village

buffalo, NY

The Elmwood neighborhood is a shoppers paradise, with boutiques, restaurants, cafes, delis, salons, specialty shops and nightclubs.
