By chance (or fate), our groups ended up next to each other in line, and from those early conversations, a larger circle was formed. As the semester went on, we found every excuse to hang out. One night, our group took over Upper Manley—half-studying, half-chatting. But while the rest of us were lost in conversation, Ambre was laser-focused, head buried in a book. Miles saw his chance. He pulled up with his best game, ready to charm her. But Ambre? She barely looked up. She was going to be a doctor, and nothing was getting in the way of her dreams. That moment told Miles everything he needed to know. She was brilliant, focused, and determined—and that only made him want to know her more. From that night on, somehow, someway, Miles always managed to find himself next to Ambre. Their connection grew naturally—effortlessly. From that day forward, they became each other’s greatest support system—pushing each other to grow, to dream bigger, and to never lose sight of their goals. Through the long nights of undergrad, the grueling exams of medical school, and every challenge in between, they always made time for what mattered most: each other. Friday date nights were non-negotiable, even when life got busy. Beyond medicine, they found joy in moving together—long walks, hikes, and their shared love for Peloton. “We can do hard things” became their motto, a reminder that no challenge was too big as long as they tackled it together. What started as two college kids with big dreams has turned into something even greater than they imagined.
