Who knew one Friday on the set would turn into A lifetime of Love and Laughter. At first, our worlds collided serendipitously but not necessarily in a good way. But in the end, a change of pace is exactly what we both needed and we got to a place where we could completely be ourselves together. We found that we balance each other out in all the right ways.

On a trip to Cocoa Beach FL, Ambrea was expecting the usual picnic and some fun in the sun. Derrick, however, had other plans. With a ring in his swimming trunks, he waited for the perfect moment to pop the proverbial question. All while two camera men who pretended to take pictures, filmed the entire proposal. Clearly Ambrea said yes. It was exhilarating and spontaneous and we both knew right then that no matter how many miles were between us or however many days we had to be apart. We wanted to be together for the rest of our lives.
