When I began imagining my future Mrs. Barnett, her hair didn't need to be a specific color, or her height a certain length. A full set of teeth was preferable, but not imperative. It started off with 2 things: 1. She must love sushi 2. She must despise country music Ambra Marie Maymon is the most genuine, kind-hearted soul I have ever come across. Her endless support and continuous passion to put others before herself makes you love her more and more with every passing day. Do not ask her to choose between our two dogs Bratton & Hazard though. How did we meet? A good group of her friends put together a “sign-night” birthday party for her at the bar we met at in Fort Myers, FL. FYI - a sign night is organized for a girl on her 21st birthday where she completes 21 tasks before the night concludes. Fast forward to the evening, a mutual friend introduced us and Ambra proceeded to ask me, “Would you like to cross something off of my list?” After contributing money to her alcohol fund, signing a body part and multiple other tasks. I was truly doing everything possible to avoid the unticked box that remained: get a lap dance. As you can imagine, my Magic Mike cap came on that evening. Sadly it was anything but magic from my performance standards. After what must of felt like a cardboard cutout dancing on sweet innocent Ambra, I was astounded she was still very much interested! We truly were opposites as she loved country music to its fullest. She denied multiple sushi dates in our first few months of seeing one another, but above all that… we knew there was something special. 5 years in: we have moved-in together, continue to laugh daily, adopted two pups, established sushi as a dinner date, I even like 1 or 2 country songs. Our love could not be more ready for this next step. I want you Ambra Marie, and the world to know, that I plan on October 15th, 2022 being the best day of our lives. Here's to you, us and forever - I love you & I cannot wait to marry you!
