We first crossed paths long before we could even remember, in our hometown of Arcadia, Florida, when we were around 4 or 6 years old. After elementary school, our connection grew stronger outside of school, as we spent time together in our old neighborhood with friends. We always seemed to find ways to be near each other, whether it was at teen nights or football games. As we entered our early teenage years, our relationship took a significant turn when we shared our very first real date at the movie theater—where we also shared our first kiss. A month later, we went on our second date, back at the same theater, and it was there, in October 2013, that we decided to be together forever. Now, many years later, we are living out the dreams we once shared as that young couple who fell in love at an early age. Through all the ups and downs, God has been the cornerstone of our journey, guiding us every step of the way. We are truly blessed and thankful for one another, and soon, we’ll be able to call each other husband and wife.
