Our Story

April 6, 2013

Ryan and Amberly met at MX338 motocross track 8 years ago. They both were racing youth novice. Ryan decided to lay himself out in the first corner making Amberly crash with him, getting his leg stuck in her rear tire. While Amberly was to short to touch the ground she was falling over almost braking Ryan’s leg. More time went by and they were very good friends. Ryan tried very hard to become more than friends and Amberly was friend zoning him hard. Years later Amberly and Ryan started hanging out more outside of racing. As time went on they grew closer and grew as a family.

How He Asked

November 15th 2020

We just got Carson to sleep. I went to the other room and seen Ryan with Carson on the couch. I suddenly got very mad and started marching over yelling at him. When I got there he was blocking me from getting to our son. I was so oblivious to what was happening when he was down on one knee. He jumps up and says “you didn’t even read my sign!” So I walk around the couch to see his sign and I read “will you marry dad?” Next to Carson who is sleeping. I suddenly realize what’s going on and I turn back around and he is now on one knee and asks me to marry him I start hugging him with out answering him. And he is like “is that a no?” I laughed and said “obviously it’s a yes you idiot!” For the next day we were laughing at how mad and oblivious I was.
