Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

March 26, 2027

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is "Garden Party Formal" - Our venue blends elegant indoor spaces with beautiful outdoor surroundings, so we recommend attire that is polished yet comfortable. For Women: Midi or maxi dresses, floral prints (not too much white mixed in), and soft spring colors are perfect. Dressy jumpsuits are also welcome. For Men: Suits or a blazer with dress pants are encouraged. Lighter spring colors like navy, gray, or tan work well. Ties are optional, but welcome. Note that the ceremony and/or cocktail hour will take place outdoors, so please plan accordingly. Grass-friendly shoes are highly recommended!

Question

Should I wear white or ivory?

Answer

Nope. The bride has selected white as her outfit color. We ask that you respect her bold and original choice.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so that you can celebrate with us.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Question

Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Due to the space limitations of our venue, we unfortunately have to limit the rehearsal dinner guest list to those who will be playing a role in the ceremony. We apologize in advance to those who are not included.

Question

Is there cell service at the venue?

Answer

Our venue is in a location where some cell providers may not have service, so we suggest putting in the full address in your GPS before you leave. But don't worry, there is free wifi!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive at least a half hour before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time. If you are late, you may not be seated but can join us for the reception.

Question

Where should guests park?

Answer

There is a parking lot to the right as you arrive to the venue. If you are staying in our hotel block, we will have a shuttle service to take you to and from the venue so you can make it back safely!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered at Zola, Amazon, Target, Williams Sonoma, and Crate & Barrel. Check out our registry page for links!

Question

Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?

Answer

Please note any restrictions when you RSVP.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We just ask that you have a designated driver or utilize the shuttle service to the hotel when the party's over. We love you and want you home safe!

Question

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony is outdoor and the reception is both outdoor and indoors. Accommodations will be made should inclement weather be in the forecast.

Question

What should I do if I don't make it into the room block?

Answer

If you miss the deadline to reserve a room in our block, reach out to the hotel and mention our wedding anyway - they may be able to accommodate you with our discount in a room outside of our block.

Question

What's the best airport to use?

Answer

Shreveport Regional Airport (SHV) is the closest airport. However, it is about an hour and thirty-five minutes from our venue.
