We originally met in high school but were simply acquaintances. We reconnected at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic when both of us found ourselves back in Tulsa for the unforeseeable future. After a few weeks of going on dates and getting to know each other again, we officially started dating in June of 2020. Two and a half years later, Caleb proposed!

Caleb had been planning the proposal for a year, and he used his mom's birthday as a cover to make sure Amber Joy was dressed up and unsuspecting. He rearranged his apartment to create an intimate and beautiful setting for the proposal. There were candles, pictures, romantic music, and a table for us to take Communion. After he proposed, we read letters that our parents wrote us and took some proposal pictures. Then we had a sweet engagement party with family and friends. It was a wonderful night! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you on June 7th!
