The very first time Will and I met was in 2018 at Barcode brunch in Washington, DC. We were there to celebrate a mutual friends birthday (my best friend Morgan). Morgan and Will worked together at the time and became good friends. Will didn't say a word to me but "Hi", which i'm sure is not surprising to anyone if you know Will and his personality. It was crazy because we actually had on the same color at brunch which til this day we do often unknowingly. Fast forward to March 7, 2021, Will reached out to Morgan asking if I was single and in fact I was. He texted me immediately introducing himself. He had so much conversation which had me intrigued to go on a date because this wasn't the guy I remembered from Barcode. First date we went bowling and I saw that chill, reserved guy that I remembered, who was also an excellent bowler which made sense why he chose that as a first date. He opened up more and more to me as we got to know each other and we developed a fun relationship full of laughs, thoughtfulness and genuine love. From there Will and I talked every single day. We created some of the best memories together and got engaged October 12, 2024.
