George House Coffee and Tea Co
George House Coffee and Tea Co is nestled across from the University of Findlay. I used to visit there to hang out, to study, and to recharge after an early morning swim practice on a Saturday morning. When you walk in you're surrounded by shelves of books, some seating, possibly people studying. The floors are creaky and the bookshelves are high, but in the far back you'll find the counter where you can order some of the most delicious coffee ever! I definitely recommend giving this little place a try.
Japan West
You had to know I was going to put the greatest sushi place in town on here, right?! Well, if you don't like sushi, that's okay! They also have hibachi and it's fun and delicious! I highly recommend this place! Good people and fantastic food!
Bistro On Main
Italian, American, vegetarian friendly! They have a variety of options on their menu and all look delicious. From my experiences I can say that this place is good - they catered my graduation party! I had people coming back to my party just get more food if that tells you anything!
Rossilli's Restaurant
Rossilli's Restaurant has been family owned and operated, serving creative American & traditional Italian cuisine and offering a private dining room, Boo's Lounge, to the Findlay community since 1994. The Italian food served here is delicious! Highly recommend. It is dimly lit inside - at least the last time I was able to go - which was a LONG time ago! Just a heads up if you aren't a fan of darker restaurants.
The Gathering (Steakhouse)
"American fine dining in an open beamed, brick walled space with weekend live music." When I was little we went here a lot and I remember they had really good ribs. It has changed A LOT since then - it has become more modernized and fun! I haven't had the chance to eat here since the upgrade but it looks delicious!

Dietschs (Ice cream)
This place makes ice cream, chocolates and other sweets fresh every day! I would recommend checking them out if you're craving ice cream or a sweet treat. You would be supporting a great local business!

Anvil Whiskey Bar, located upstairs at The Gathering, is Findlay’s ultimate whiskey bar featuring over one-hundred twenty fine bourbons and scotches, as well as fourteen craft beers on tap and a full bar. Hang out and enjoy live entertainment every Friday and Saturday night and relax on our balcony overlooking the city.
The Bourbon Affair
The Bourbon Affair offers top-shelf bourbons and hand-crafted cocktails in a sophisticated, yet casual atmosphere. The Bourbon Affair features a 40-foot custom bar while the establishment’s décor takes one back in time to the end of Prohibition in the 1930’s. This place is fun and makes delicious drinks. Highly recommend. It is a smaller bar so it can get busy pretty fast!
Findlay Brewing Co
New to Findlay (newer) and so good! I have only had the opportunity to go one time and I liked just about everything I drank and ate and I can be a picky beer drinker. To eat I had the mac n cheese and it was fantastic! Highly recommend checking this place out especially since it is within walking distance of the hotel. It is also kid friendly - when I was there I saw quite a few people bring in their kids!

A multi-level bar with food, drinks and live music. It is a fun place to be and within walking distance of the hotel. I recommend checking out their website for photos and information on all of the bar options as well as the beers they currently have on tap!
