We’re getting married!

We first met on a Friday night at the Three Rivers Casino bar in Florence, OR. Tyler was there for an afterwork drink with a friend and I was there enjoying a night away with a friend. I asked (maybe told) him to dance with me and he did. Lucky me! We spent the rest of the evening together enjoying each others company and have been inseparable ever since.

It was a beautiful Fall day and the whole family was together on our annual pumpkin patch trip to Detering Orchards in Harrisburg, OR. We took the hay ride out to get our pumpkins. While we were out in the middle of all of the pumpkins searching for the perfect ones he got down on one knee and proposed! I had NO CLUE! He did an amazing job! He managed to keep it a secret, even with our kids knowing. I loved that he made sure we were all together as a family and that he got the girls’ input and approval before choosing a ring for me. The ring is GORGEOUS and exactly my style! He also knows that I do not like being the center of attention and he picked the perfect place. I was super impressed!
