Things To Do

If you’re making a weekend out of your trip, Raleigh has plenty to explore. Spend some time in Downtown Raleigh for great restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops, or walk through the North Carolina Museum of Art and its outdoor park if you want something relaxed and scenic. For a little local flavor, check out the Warehouse District or grab brunch in nearby Wake Forest. If you’re up for being outside, Umstead State Park (where we had our first date and where Amber said yes!!) offers beautiful trails just a short drive away. Whether you’re into food, art, or just wandering somewhere new, there’s plenty to fill a free afternoon before we celebrate together.
