We met just like all the other fairytale stories you hear about, on Tinder. Nothing more romantic than swiping right! I (Amber) started the conversation first, but then Teyanna took over and asked me out to breakfast after a couple weeks of talking. My first thought was, "breakfast? Man this girl is friend-zoning me for sure." But after spending three hours at the restaurant talking nonstop I started to think maybe I was wrong. What really sealed the deal is when I walked Teyanna to her car. As we got to her car, Teyanna leaned up against it and started to fiddle with her keys...I knew what this meant. But with me being the overly nervous person that I am, gave her a big ( and very long) hug and went on my merry way. Little did I know that was the best decision I could have made. I left Teyanna wanting more. And the rest is history :)
The week leading up to our wedding was one of the hardest struggles Teyanna and I have ever had to deal with. I'm sure as you all remember that mid March was when things really began to get bad with Covid-19. Throughout this challenging time, we were so grateful to have each other and our close family and friends. We found an amazing new venue! All of our other vendors have been nothing but lovely through this whole process. At the end of the day we were able to exchange our vows and commit our lives together, which is all that we could ask for! However, we have been waiting over a year to celebrate with all of you and can't wait to do so!
