We’re getting married!

Shawn and I met in May of 2021. I pretty much saved his life on a call, but that is a story for another time (maybe I’ll share it at the wedding). First meeting him, I had no idea what to expect. I was nervous and completely guarded and honestly I thought to myself “no way a guy like this is single”. Long story short, we went on a date and well we’ve been inseparable since.

Shawn proposed on October 16, 2022 at our new home. We had just moved and was hosting a “house warming party” for our family and friends. I had no clue he was planning on asking! We had the girls for this weekend and I was in the kitchen cleaning and preparing for the party and Hadley comes inside and says “Miss Amber, can you come outside for a second”. So I put down whatever I had In my hands and went outside. When I stepped outside there was a pumpkin on the ground and written on it said “will you marry us” ♥️♥️ In the most awkward but cutest way possible, Shawn gets down on one knee and asks! I couldn’t believe it. I just remember asking “are you serious” over and over again. Of course I said yes!!!
