What type of attire should I wear?

Answer

As long you won’t get arrested with what you choose to wear (or not wear), anything is fine. Typical wedding attire is fine, but so is jeans and a polo. You being there (covered and comfortable) is what we care about most!

Why is this just a 'Reception' invitation?

Answer

Amber and Ryan have decided to have a private ceremony and reciting of vows in the beautiful and picturesque mountains of Colorado! When returning to the east coast as husband and wife, a celebration of their union will take place with friends and family! We can't wait to celebrate with all of you!

Are children welcome at the reception?

Answer

While we love all of our friends and family's children, we respectfully request no little ones on this night. We hope you enjoy this celebration as a fun night out!

Where do we park when we arrive to the Chesapeake Inn?

Answer

There are two parking options. The Chesapeake Inn provides valet parking for $5.00. Alternatively, you can park anywhere on the street, in the parking lot to the left of the building, or in the parking lot right down the road.

Where do I go once I arrive at the Chesapeake Inn?

Answer

When you arrive at the Chesapeake Inn and have parked your vehicle, there will be signs indicating where the reception is. Just walk up the steps to the second floor and the reception will be located in the rooms to the right of the dining room.

Do I need to bring any cash or card to provide to the restaurant for purchases or tips to the service staff?

Answer

Nope! During the reception, we will be providing an 'open bar' for the duration of the event, so no cash or cards are necessary for alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage purchases. Everything is taken care of; just show up and have a great time!

What does the schedule look like for food service?

Answer

Appetizers will be served during the first hour beginning at 12:30, followed by the serving of the main course around 1:45, and then desserts to round out the food service!
