What time should we arrive for the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive starting at 5pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm. The venue entrance is on 14th St N and guests will have to take the elevator to the top level. Please do not be late!

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

There is a complimentary parking lot next to the venue and a parking attendant will be present to direct you. The parking lot entrance is on N Oak St. You may leave your car at the reception venue to attend the afterparty in DC.

Where can I find the wedding registry?

Answer

Thank you for your thoughtfulness -- what we want most is to have our friends and family celebrate with us on our wedding day, so your presence will be a gift in itself. We're lucky to already have all the basic items that we need, so physical gifts are not preferred. If you would like to give something, monetary gifts would be most helpful and will go towards either our new home fund or honeymoon fund. Please feel free to use the Zola cash fund registry on our wedding website or follow Chinese gift etiquette of 红包/red envelopes. Regardless, we appreciate your participation in our special day!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the wedding ceremony & reception, please wear cocktail/semi-formal/black tie optional. Here are some examples we found online: Ladies: a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy/elegant pantsuit or jumpsuit Gentlemen: option of wearing a tuxedo or a suit; dark jackets and slacks.

Can I bring a plus one or my kids?

While we would love to invite everyone if we could, our venue has a maximum limit on guests. We kindly ask that you check your RSVP form which will indicate the number of guests you are able to bring.

When are RSVPs due?

Answer

Please RSVP yes or no by August 1 so that we can finalize details with our wedding vendors.

Do you have any hotel room blocks?

Answer

We do have a room block at a DC hotel for wedding guests; if you need a room, please contact Amber at amber.j.huang@gmail.com for assistance!
