Please arrange a DD/car pool. If you are staying at the Hilton they have transportation available for pick up from the wedding venue back to the hotel

What do I need to know if I want to join the Lake Day on Saturday 9.3.22 at Lake Lure?

10am to 5pm (Bride & Groom will be late) Entry fees: $10 adults $9 senior $8 Kids under 12 Free under 4 400 person capacity Pontoon rentals available will need to call for pricing, fishing boat $50 per hour. Half day 175 full day 350 Paddleboard, canoe, double kayak - $20 an hour, $85 per day Single Kayak $70 per day Hydro bike $12 an hour Recommend booking 1-2 months in advance due to holiday weekend. Boat tour first come first serve starting at 11 am $18 per person 6+ people minimum Groups of 20+ can get $1 off admission if paid in single transaction. The Lake Lure Community center has been rented out by Nicks mom (Andrea) for anyone looking to congregate in case of bad weather, or for those looking to take a break from the sun. Yard games will be provided, Alcohol is allowed inside the building only. No dogs allowed. Yes coolers. No alcohol on the lake beach area. Bring your own lunch/food.

What do I need to know if I want to join the Friends & Family Hike on Sunday?

Answer

Meet us at DuPonte State Forest by 9:30am. Type into GPS “Hooker Falls Trail Head.” You will see a bridge from the parking lot. If you’re late, no worries, just meet us along the trial! We will be making multiple stops and will likely be at the bottom of triple falls the majority of the time. Bring your bathing suit, lunch and good walking shoes!
