If you have any other questions other than what we’ve listed here, please reach out to Amber's Mom, Cheryl.
Question

When should I RSVP to the wedding?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 1st. We hope all of you can make it!

Question

How do I get to Vashon Island?

Answer

The only way to get to Vashon Island is by ferry. There are two ferry terminals available, posted with full schedules below. Please account 1-2 hours for the ferry since they can fill up quickly on the weekend, particularly on holiday weekends like Labor Day. Please check the full ferry details here: https://www.wsdot.com/ferries/schedule/ScheduleDetail.aspx?departingterm=9&arrivingterm=22&roundtrip=true

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see everyone in their semiformal attire, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. P.S. keep in mind that the venue has many grassy patches, so wedges might be easier to navigate than heels.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your kids—bring em with!

Question

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is ample parking for everyone right in front of the venue. For those on foot, we recommend grabbing an uber or a taxi to get to the venue, since it is about a 15 minute drive away.

Question

Should we stay on Vashon Island or downtown Seattle?

Answer

It really is up to you, and how you would like to spend your weekend! After the wedding ceremony, we will be going back to Seattle to stay the evening. You will probably find a lot more hotel options there, than on the island.

Question

Where should I stay on Vashon Island?

Answer

There are many great AirBnBs listed on the island. If island living isn't your style, you can easily stay anywhere in Downtown Seattle and come over via ferry the day of the wedding.

Question

What is there to do on Vashon Island before the wedding?

Answer

Please find our map here of a few spots we love on the island: https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1y1mR0RGNiov6lmq819lsyvMg7CL8lETz&usp=sharing
