Getting married has its Pertz!

We first met on a Parma City School bus in 2005. The bus was running a little early and Michael offered to walk me home because my mom wasn’t at the stop yet. From that day on, he made sure I got home safely. He was my first crush and I would walk over to his house almost every day in the summer to see if he wanted to come over and swim. I moved and years later, Amazon messed up by sending me two of the same phone case, so I posted on Facebook that one was up for grabs. He reached out and said he liked it, so he drove thirty minutes to come pick it up; we talked and laughed for hours catching up. Some time passed by and he asked me on a date! Michael popped the question on May 9, 2021. We were sitting there talking and joking around like always. He got down on one knee, pulled out the ring, and asked if I promised to make him laugh forever. Of course I said yes! Michael and I have stood by each other through so much and made the most of every situation... including a global pandemic. We are so excited for this next chapter in our lives, and we are even more excited that it’s with each other!
