Our journey began in a rather unconventional manner, as we crossed paths through the dating app Hinge. Over the course of approximately two weeks, we engaged in spirited text exchanges until we both reached the inevitable decision to embark on our first date. That inaugural encounter turned out to be an extraordinary five-hour adventure! We indulged in a delightful lunch in downtown Fairfield, embarked on a spontaneous exploration of the town's charms, strolled to the serene beachfront, and savored a few cups of coffee. It was during those unforgettable five hours that we sensed an extraordinary connection, a spark that hinted at something truly special between us.

Mikey had a thoughtful plan in 2020 to celebrate Amber's graduation by arranging a trip to Jamaica. One unforgettable evening, as they strolled along the beach during sunset, Mikey suggested taking some photos of Amber. After snapping a few pictures, he sweetly asked her to move closer to the shoreline for a better shot. Unbeknownst to her, while she turned towards the water, Mikey seized the opportunity he'd been waiting for! He quickly set up his camera on a nearby sandy chair and managed to capture the magical "I do" moment. The surprise left Amber speechless, and with a beaming smile, she joyfully exclaimed, "Yes!"
