Amber and Micah began dating December 2014. Although they met while living in Virginia, they have a love for all things Texas. Together they enjoy rooting on their favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys, eating at Mexican restaurants and spending time with family and friends. The couple can get competitive during board game night, playing mini-golf and watching Jeopardy. However, nothing brings them together like road trips complete with karaoke and dancing.

Micah was born in Tyler, Texas, to Veronica and Brice Ballard. He lived in Texas until 1999, when the Ballards moved to Fluvanna, Virginia. Micah currently works as a wine distributor for Republic National. When he's not working, he enjoys watching and playing sports and tending to his garden.

Amber was born in Spokane, Washington, to Debbie and Abel Galaviz. As a Marine family, they lived in Kansas, California, Texas and Virginia. Amber graduated from VCU with a journalism degree and currently works in the communications department for a local school division. She loves photography, Jesus and her dog, Audie.
