SLC is approximately 4 hours driving to Moab. This is the most cost efficient flight and the drive into Moab is beautiful.

There is a small airport in Moab, with flights from SLC and Denver. Car rentals are available there, but are limited and can book up on such a popular weekend!

Archview RV Resort & Campground

If you won’t be camping at the 7 Mile reception site Archview is my next suggestion. The Archview RV Resort is approximately 10 miles north of Moab. This is the location closest to the reception, just a few minutes drive. . Campsites are $50-$75/night, depending on the size, and most have RV hookups available. We encourage everyone not dry camping at 7 Mile to take advantage of this lodging option, as it is an easy alternative to getting a taxi or other designated driver back into the town of Moab. Kids and pets are welcome at the campground and there is a great playground and pool area! There are biking, hiking, and ATV riding trails that start right from the campground, as well as a far-off view of the arches in Arches National Park (as the name suggests...). Regardless of where you stay, book your reservations ASAP. I can not stress enough the importance of this because September and October are peak travel times in this area.

If a tent or car camping isn't your thing, check out these cute rental RV's! They deliver them to your campsite for you, so no need to worry about pulling a trailer. This is an option for either the 7 Mile Reception location for dry camping or at Archview.

Karen’s Canine Campground

Karen's does daycare or overnight kennel-free boarding (in very stylish climate-controlled cabins) for dogs. The campground the wedding is at is dog friendly, but temperatures could be too high to leave dogs unattended in cars or cabins during the day. ****Must have proof of current vaccinations: distemper combo and bordatella.

This is a busy time of year, book your travel plans ASAP. Also, from personal experience, book your rental car on site at the airport if possible. There are other off site rental companies and it can be a little hectic navigating which shuttle goes to the specific rental car company.
