What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would like to see everyone get dressed up with us. The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire/semi-formal. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses and gentlemen should wear a suit or a sports coat. We ask that you don't wear jeans.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception are taking place indoors at 1208 Washington Place on Washington st., Columbia, SC 29210. The ceremony will take place up stairs (take the elevators to get upstair), cocktail hour will take place on the terraces (outside), and the reception will be downstairs.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

The bridal party will take pictures nearby, while guest will head to the terraces for cocktail hour. There will be passed hor d'ouevers and beverages while you wait for the reception to start.

Are there any colors you would like the guest to avoid?

Answer

We would love for our bridal party to stand out, so we ask that all guest avoid wearing dark/emerald greens.

Where should I park?

Answer

There is a parking garage connected to 1208 Washington where guest can park. The parking garage is hourly based. There is also street parking nearby.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accomodate to those listed on your invitation.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed!! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP, "no" so we can plan accordingly.

What if I rsvped yes but something came up and I’m no longer able to make it?

Answer

You will be missed, but we understand! As soon as you find out that you are no longer available to attend, please change tour rsvp to decline, or reach out to the bride or groom.
