While on a trip planned to celebrate Amber's recent graduation from optometry school, Kelby introduced another reason to celebrate. On the second night of the four day, twenty six mile canoe/camping trip in the Boundary Waters of Minnesota, Amber caught a lake trout. She was excited to get a photo of herself with Kelby and the fish to put in her empty frame at home. Kelby spent time setting up his camera with a self timer. After a couple photos, he said "lets take one more, I am not sure they came out". On that last photo he got down on a knee just in time for the camera.
