Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The weather in Atlanta will typically be in the 80s during the day and the 60s in the evening. The ceremony and reception will be hosted inside while the cocktail hour will be outside.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at Upstairs Atlanta. Please see the travel page for the address.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place indoors while the cocktail hour will be held outside on the adjoining patio.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will take bridal portraits. Guests will be ushered to the adjoining patio for cocktail hour to enjoy finger foods, beverages, and tunes from an amazing saxophonist!

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" by the requested date so we can plan accordingly.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Guests are encouraged to either uber or taxi to the venue. Please see the travel page for information on travelling distance from each of our blocked hotels.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Given the heavy Atlanta traffic, especially on a Saturday evening, we recommend that you arrive thirty minutes, 4:30, before the start of the ceremony. Please see the 'Travel' section for average travel times from our blocked hotels to the venue.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

We suggest taking either an uber or taxi to the venue. If you do decide to drive, there is a free parking lot directly in front of the venue.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and look forward to celebrating with you!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Do you have hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Yes, we have three hotels with room blocks. Please see the 'Travel' section for more details on the hotels, the cut-off booking date, and nearby attractions.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is July 26th. Please mail back your RSVP as soon as possible to make sure we can plan accordingly.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes! :-)

Where are you registered?

Answer

Please refer to the 'Registry' section. While we have registered for some physical gifts, we are hoping to take our honeymoon in summer 2024 to the Maldives. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated!

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

There will not be any transportation between the various hotels and the venues. We encourage guests to take Ubers or taxis to and from the venue.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes! We encourage guests to post pictures on their social media! Please make sure you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #simscityoflove so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
