We met in our sophomore and junior year of high school. We had mutual friends who hung out quite often. We'd like to say there was an instant connection between the two of us, even if we didn't know it at the time. On December 11, 2010 Kamran asked me to be his girlfriend. Who knew that the love we shared as teenagers would turn in to something so real and exactly 9 years later we’d be saying “I do”.

It was our 8th dating anniversary, we went to dinner at Phillips Seafood downtown. After dinner, we went for a walk around the Harbor. We stopped in the mall to warm up and saw a photo booth, we had always done or tried to get our photos done in a photo booth around our anniversary every year since we started dating so I thought, how perfect that we ran into one tonight! We squeezed into the booth, it was much smaller than I remember it being..or maybe I just forget we're not 16 anymore. We swipe our card and the pictures start flashing... Picture one-smiling, Picture two- funny face, Picture three- he got down on one knee and asked, "Will you marry me?" Of course, I said "yes!!!!" Picture four- ugly crying, kissing picture. We left the photo booth, got our pictures and finished our walk around the Harbor. I will remember that night forever.
