Question
What is the dress code?
Answer
We don’t have an official dress code. However, if you want to match our colors, think mauvey pinks, forest greens, and champagne gold. If you want to match our theme, regal fairies, enchanted forest vibes, and your favorite fairytale can be your guide. It can get brisk and sometimes rainy in Colorado in April so make sure to bring a warmer layer and good shoes for the ceremony just in case. The reception will be indoors.
Question
Where should I park for the ceremony?
Answer
Please park in the rec center parking lot at 575 Ash Street, Cañon City, Colorado 81212. The lot is fairly small, so we recommend carpooling to the ceremony if possible. There is overflow parking across the street at the other riverwalk trailhead, however the road is rather busy and we don’t recommend crossing the road directly. If you park in the overflow area, take the trail that passes under the bridge and head straight. You will see the signs on your right leading to the ceremony area.

How do I get to the ceremony from the trailhead?
Answer
The trail will be marked with signs and arrows to follow to the ceremony. When starting from the Rec center parking lot, take the trail farthest to the Right and head over the bridge until the trail opens to the river, and you see the sign showing where to branch off to the left. Head left until you see the signs on your right marking the ceremony spot. When starting from the overflow parking, please head underneath the bridge and continue straight until you see the signs on your right marking the ceremony spot.

Where is the events center at Pathfinder?
Answer
The Pathfinder Events Center is a short 7 minute drive from The Riverwalk in Canon City. When leaving the rec center parking lot, take a right and head southeast on S Raynolds Ave. Follow this road until you reach CO-115 S / Cedar Ave, and take a left onto this road. Follow this road until you see a large open field to the left, at 6655 CO-115. The enterance is marked with signs reading “pathfinder regional park”. Once you turn in, follow the roundabout to the first right, head straight past the first large building. The reception will be held in the smaller building in back, on the right. It is across from the small stadium, and is attached to an outdoor rodeo arena.
Question
What happens if it rains?
Answer
In the event of a light sprinkle of rain, the ceremony will proceed as planned at the riverwalk. However, In the event of a downpour, we will move the ceremony to the pathfinder events center, where the reception will be held. We don’t expect it to rain, but Colorado can be unpredictable.
