What is the dress code?

Answer

Casual Wedding Attire - Business Casual Please avoid any whites, ivories, or similar colors intended for the bride.

Can we bring a plus one?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget and within our venue’s guidelines. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are the ceremony and reception in the same place?

Answer

Yes. Knotty Barn will host both the ceremony and reception. The ceremony will be in the courtyard right behind the barn, and the reception will be in the barn.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be indoors. Depending on the weather, the ceremony portion may be changed to be indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

The wedding party will take photos. There will be cocktails and appetizers served before the reception.

Will transportation be provided to and from the hotel?

Answer

Both hotels listed under the travel tab do provide a shuttle. Make sure you check with the front desk for arrangements.

May I take and post photos of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post photos on their social media channels. We only request that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #BearlyWaitToBeeTheCrandalls so we can keep track of your photos! We have one expectation: please note the ceremony is "unplugged," and we have limited our photo exposure to only our photographers and videographer at that time.

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

Please refrain from removing any of the decor as some may be rentals and are irreplaceable.

What do you plan to serve or have at the wedding?

Answer

We will have an on-site taco bar. We will also have a bartender available, and there will be limited alcohol selection. There will be aguas frescas catered, three flavors to choose from. There will be bottled water available on site.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, we have these in place to accommodate our guests.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is Labor Day - September 4th. Please do what is easier for you regarding RSVP to our wedding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, please only bring those who are listed on the invitation. Please be mindful of your children at all times, as there will not be any childcare on site.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There will be parking on site. Please follow the signs. Please, if you can carpool, do so, as a limited amount of parking is available. If you are staying at either hotel listed under the travel tab, you may take the hotel shuttle to and from the venue; make sure you make arrangements with the front desk.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend you arrive about 30 min before the ceremony starts to ensure everyone is on time, and we can start the event as scheduled!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot attend the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

Rustic chic. We have incorporated the following color scheme of navy blue and dusty rose. Our main floral will be sunflowers.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The climate is quite comfortable here in October. Temperatures are up to 92°F. On average, the recorded minimum temperature is 72°F. Thus, the mean temperature average in October in Phoenix (Arizona) is 81°F. You can expect a few rainy days in Arizona during October, but usually the weather is comfortable in October.

Yes, there is a certain area designated for smoking.

Able I am to bring my own alcohol?

Answer

Please refrain from bringing in any alcoholic beverages on site. The venue has certain restrictions that must be set when it comes to having alcohol on site.

What restrictions does the venue have in place for this event?

Answer

No shots are allowed with or without ice. No illegal or recreational drugs or controlled substances are allowed anywhere on the property. No person under 21 can consume or possess alcohol, with or without an adult’s permission.
