We take this pandemic very seriously but we have invited guests from around the country so we understand if people are not comfortable participating in this event. The entire event will take place outside and we plan on arranging seating and events with social distancing in mind. Please bring a mask and don when appropriate, even if you have been vaccinated at the time of the wedding.
We are both confident enough in the research we have done into the research other scientists have done to feel very confident about getting the vaccine and recommending it to you. Our second shot of the Moderna vaccine is April 30th. The more people we have vaccinated the more comfortable everyone will feel at the event. We would be happy to discuss what we know but again if you are able we are strongly encouraging you to take the vaccine even if you can only get a single shot before the event.
The Grace Baptist Church across the street from us is letting us use their parking lot! We'll have some signage or people helping out if you get lost.
Yes! We will be lighting a bonfire in our yard! If it is convenient for you, bring your personal yard chairs or blankets to sit around it.
The reception will be casual, as we intend to play some yard games and spend the full time outside. Try to look nice but avoid heels or other clothing that wouldn't be good for the backyard.
Jeff and Amber are currently equally smart, but Amber is going back to school to prove she is more smart.
