Question
Is this another wedding?
Answer
No. Our wedding 15 years ago was amazing, and we aren't looking to recreate it. We're doing a vow renewal to reaffirm our commitment to each other, and include our full family unit in the ceremony. We're going to have some flairs of a traditional wedding weekend (e.g. welcome event, ceremony, reception) but it will be much less formal, but just as fun!
Question
Do I get a plus one?
Answer
It depends. We've intentionally kept the guest list to our closest, nearest and dearest friends and family members. That means your favorite classmate, client, soror, prec, spec, or frat brother may not have been invited. If you have a spouse or significant other, they are of course invited to join you. Rooms are dual occupancy, so if you need a plus one to complete your room booking, just let us know and we can go from there.

Are kids invited?
Answer
Absolutely! Moon Palace Jamaica is a family resort, and there's a ton for kids to do. Our kids will be there, so you're welcome to bring yours as well. Kids and teens (17 and under) stay free (max of 2 kids per room), so they won't add to your costs, and they'll have an amazing time. Think of this as your vacation--you'll have plenty of free time to enjoy time with your kids/family if you decide to bring them.

When do I need to book my room by?
Answer
Please let us know if you intend to join us by December 1, 2023, and book your room by May 31, 2024. Bookings are fully refundable up to five days before the event, so if you need to cancel for any reason, you'll get your money back.

What's included in my rate?"
Answer
The listed rates are dual occupancy (2 people) and include all food, drinks (including alcoholic beverages) and round-trip ground transportation from Montego Bay airport. For stays 5 days or longer, you'll also receive an included 25 minute back massage, mani and pedi, and $1500 in resort credits for excursions and other activities.

Can I put a deposit down on my room and pay later?

Unfortunately, in order to take advantage of the rates we negotiated, you have to pay in full at the time of booking. The good news is that you have until May 31, 2024 to book your room, which hopefully gives plenty of time to plan/prepare.
Question
What if I find a cheaper rate somewhere else?
Answer
If you plan to join our event, but not stay at Moon Palace Jamaica, unfortunately you'll have to pay $210 (per person) for a day pass to come to the resort for the day of the event. Please let us know if you decide to go this route so we can make the hotel aware and they can collect billing information from you in advance of your arrival.

Can I book through another website or travel agent?
Answer
Please don't. In order for our guests to participate in the wedding activities, they need to be booked as a part of our group. We will be charged for any guests who book separately from the group. Feel free to reach out to Amber if you have any questions or issues with booking and we can figure out how to make it work.
