WE’RE FINALLY GETTING MARRIED!

On January 4th, 2020, my life changed in a way I never saw coming. I met my best friend and soulmate on what we thought would be just another casual college gathering. Little did I know, that day would mark the beginning of an extraordinary journey with the person who would become my everything. What started as a typical meet-up with friends quickly turned into something far more significant—something neither of us could have anticipated. Jake always says, “I knew you were the one the moment those elevator doors opened.” It’s funny, though, because I probably looked like I had just rolled out of bed! But somehow, he saw something in me from that very first moment, something that connected us in a way words couldn’t explain. From that day on, we’ve been inseparable, constantly growing together, laughing together, and supporting each other through every challenge life threw our way. We’ve accomplished so much—together. Every milestone, every adventure, every memory made has been shared with him by my side. February 14th, 2025—Valentine’s Day—Jake asked me to be his soulmate. I still remember the moment so clearly, the look in his eyes, the way he held my hand as if he were asking for something far more profound than just a promise. I, of course, being my usual self, blurted out the first thing that came to mind: “Are you joking with me right now?!” I didn’t know how to process what was happening—it felt like a dream. On May 6th, 2026, I will say “I do” to being his soulmate forever. It’s hard to believe how quickly time has passed, but every moment spent with him has only confirmed that we are exactly where we’re meant to be. Looking back on everything, I can’t help but feel incredibly grateful. From the first unexpected meeting to the laughter, tears, and growth we’ve experienced together, I’ve realized that sometimes the best things in life come when you least expect them. Our story is just beginning, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes us—together.
