Jace and Amber met their freshman year of high school thanks to a mutual friend. Throughout high school, they became inseparable friends — spending weekends together after football games, grabbing food with friends, and making memories that felt effortless. Even when college took them to different places (and several hours apart), their friendship only grew stronger. Between nonstop FaceTimes, cheering on the Panthers, and knowing exactly when the other needed support, they became best friends first. Somewhere between all the laughs and late nights, friendship turned into love. One late night, during a conversation in the car, Jace confidently told Amber, “I am going to marry you someday”. Amber never forgot it. She held onto that promise — mostly because she knew he meant it, and partly because she knew he was right. They just needed to let the timing catch up. She was in love with him and had never met anyone like him before. She loved his humor, smile, confidence, and kind heart. In March 2020, during a senior-year spring break cruise, Jace officially asked Amber to be his girlfriend after a sunset dinner by the ocean, complete with a jazz band playing in the background. Romantic? Yes. Planned? Absolutely. Perfect? Without a doubt. Since then, they’ve traveled from Miami to Vegas, Los Angeles to Haiti, Mexico to Key West, and everywhere in between — collecting memories, laughter, and stories they’ll be telling forever. On March 21, 2024, their greatest adventure yet began when they welcomed their baby girl, Stevie. She has brought more love, joy, and meaning into their lives than they ever imagined. After six years together, Jace and Amber are finally making good on that five-year promise and can’t wait to celebrate their love — and their growing family — with the people who mean the most to them.
