When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding is on Saturday, August 1st, 2026! The ceremony will be held at Shepherd of the Valley Church in Afton, MN starting at 3:00pm, with the reception to follow at Settlement Hill Farm in Hudson, WI. Shepherd of the Valley Church: 14107 Hudson Road S, Afton, MN 55001 - Hank’s grandparents, Byron and Genie Gorres, were one of the founding families of Shepherd of the Valley! Settlement Hill Farm: 565 County Road U, Hudson, WI 54016 - Amber’s childhood home is just down the street from Settlement Hill Farm! The church and the reception venue are about 15 minutes apart.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

We’d love for you to dress up with us! If you’d like direction, think summery semi-formal attire—dresses, dressy jumpsuits, suits, and button-downs are all great options. Most of the celebration will be indoors, with an optional patio during cocktail hour.

Is there parking available?

There is free onsite parking at both the church and the reception venue! Cars can be left overnight at the reception venue if needed.

Where should I stay?

We’ve reserved rooms at a nearby hotel—check out the “Travel” tab for more details. The Robeys have also kindly opened up their yard across the street to anyone who might want to bring a camper or tent :) Just please let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.

What's for dinner/drinks?

We’ll be having a buffet dinner with a couple pasta options. Please note any dietary restrictions when you RSVP and we’ll be happy to accommodate. We’re planning on hosting an open bar all night!

How do I RSVP?

We can’t wait to celebrate with you! Please let us know if you’ll be joining us by July 1st, 2026. You can RSVP by clicking the “RSVP” tab at the top of this page.

Can I bring a plus-one or my children?

Answer

We had such a hard time narrowing down our guest list to fit our venue capacity, and we’ve done our very best to include as many loved ones as possible. For that reason, we’re only able to accommodate the specific guests whose names are listed on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

Your presence is present enough! If you’d still like to give something, we’re registered at Zola, Pottery Barn, and Amazon, which are all linked in the “Registry” tab above.
