Rentals near downtown will have better access to pre-wedding activities, shuttles to the wedding, bars, restaurants, and other public amenities. At this time, there are select rooms available at the venue for family. Any lodging that is unreserved at the venue will become available on March 17, 2025 for guests to book.

Flight

Gerald R. Ford International Airport

We recommend flying in and out of Gerald R. Ford International Airport which is Grand Rapids' local airport and only a short car ride from all hotel and rental suggestions and the wedding venue. There are currently nonstop routes (possibly limited) from the following cities: Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago-Midway, Chicago-O'Hare, Dallas-Fort Worth, Denver, Destin/Fort Walton, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Houston, New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, Nashville, Newark, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, Sarasota, Savannah, St. Petersburg-Clearwater, Tampa, and Washington D.C.

Hertz, Dollar, Avis, Budget and Enterprise available. Pick-up and drop-off very convenient. Once you arrive at your gate, follow the signs to baggage claim. Exit through door #5 and cross the street to the parking garage. The rental counters are located to the right side, first floor, of the garage.

Travel Note

Uber/Lyft and Taxi Information

Uber/Lyft is available in the area for transportation between the airport and downtown Grand Rapids, between the airport and the venue, and throughout downtown. It is roughly a 20-25 minutes to downtown Grand Rapids and 25-30 minutes to the venue. Directions (From airport) : To catch your ride share, exit the terminal through door #2 (across fro the Delta ticket counter), and go to the ride share shelter on the boulevard. Taxis are also available in the area for transportation between the airport and downtown Grand Rapids as well as between the airport and the venue. You can catch a ride directly outside the airport with the help of a taxi starter or by calling (616) 827-6500 to book a taxi for up to six (6) passengers. Directions (From airport): To catch a taxi, exit the terminal through door #3 or door #5, and go to the climate controlled Parking Shuttle Shelter on the boulevard.
