The bureau is organized into six regions: Columbia-Pacific Northwest, California-Great Basin, Upper Colorado Basin, Lower Colorado Basin, Missouri Basin, and Arkansas-Rio Grande-Texas Gulf. Administratively, Hoover Dam is a part of the Lower Colorado Dams Office (LCDO) of the Lower Colorado Basin Region.
