The ceremony is at 2 PM, and depending on how far away you live and traffic, I would aim to arrive at least 30 minutes early.
We know this is going to upset quite a few people, but we would prefer if you didn’t. Reason being, we have a very talented photographer who is going to be photographing the ceremony and we don’t want people getting in her way because they’re trying to get their own pictures. Also, we want you all to really be there to see it for yourselves — not to watch it happen through your phone. Plus, we don’t want to get our pictures back and see a bunch of phones being held up in the background. So please, respect our wishes. You all will have plenty of time to take pictures with us after the ceremony.
Of course! You’re more than welcome to bring your children. All we ask is that you adhere to The Regency’s rule regarding children.
Children are not to play on the staircase or with the elevator. And children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult outside of the reception area.
No. You cannot have any of your own alcohol on the premises. We will have a cash bar available for your social drink needs. And there will be a police officer there to ensure nobody gets out of hand (per The Regency).
Yes. You can smoke outside, but we ask that people refrain from smoking on the balcony of the reception area. Also, please be respectful. If anything belonging to The Regency gets damaged, we will have to pay a fee. And if that happens, whoever caused the damage will be responsible for reimbursing us the fee.
No, not really. Instead of asking for gifts that we don’t need, we’re asking that our loved ones donate what money they would’ve spent on a gift to our Honeymoon Fund instead. To donate, click on the Registry tab on the website.
